Knight Frank Plans First Global Capability Centre in India by 2028

Global property consultancy Knight Frank is considering India as the location to set up its first Global Capability Centre (GCC), senior partner and group chair William Beardmore-Gray announced during the inauguration of the firm's new office in Chennai.
The proposed state-of-the-art facility will integrate the firm's existing centres of excellence (COEs) currently operating across Mumbai, Malaysia, and Poland to provide consolidated support for its international operations.
Speaking on Wednesday, Beardmore-Gray stated that internal discussions regarding the initiative have been underway for the past six to seven months. A representative from the global leadership team is scheduled to visit India in the coming weeks to conduct initial scoping for the project.
The consultancy aims to bring the three regional centres together into the unified GCC by 2028. Currently, the operations in Malaysia support the firm's occupier services business, while the Poland centre focuses on technology used across both residential and occupier services divisions.
Beardmore-Gray noted that India's growing importance within Knight Frank's worldwide business has served as a key consideration behind the move to expand its COE presence in the country, describing the establishment of the GCC as a significant opportunity for the organization.
