enGen Global Donates Pediatric Medical Equipment to CHILDS Trust Hospital

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital in Chennai received a significant donation of advanced medical equipment, including a non-invasive ventilator and multiple pulse oximeters. The donation was presented by enGen Global, an integrated healthcare global capability centre, through its dedicated corporate social responsibility programme known as enGen Serve.

The addition of these essential medical tools is expected to directly strengthen the capabilities of the hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The equipment will assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality, specialized treatment to infants and children requiring critical care.

According to an official release, the newly acquired non-invasive ventilator will play a crucial role in providing respiratory support to pediatric patients. This technology allows doctors to assist children with breathing difficulties without having to resort to invasive procedures, reducing discomfort and potential complications for young patients.

Furthermore, the donated pulse oximeters will be utilized for the continuous and accurate monitoring of oxygen saturation levels. This ensures that the medical team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit can track the respiratory status of critical patients in real time.

Janani Sankar, the medical director of Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, welcomed the contribution. Sankar noted that these state-of-the-art instruments will enable the medical staff to provide more advanced and timely care to their young patients.

Manoj Kapoor, the president and chief executive officer of enGen Global, also spoke about the significance of the contribution. Kapoor stated that knowing these efforts can help save lives and provide comfort to families is profoundly meaningful to the company.

The donation marks another collaborative effort to support healthcare infrastructure and pediatric medical services within Chennai.
