Vinosha Ravi Clarifies Viral Video Shows Her and Not TN Minister S Keerthana

A Malaysian woman identified as Vinosha Ravi has clarified that she is the person featured in a viral video that was falsely linked to Tamil Nadu industries minister S Keerthana. The clip had triggered a political row on social media concerning the minister's attire.
In a video shared on her Instagram account, Vinosha addressed the controversy to clear up the confusion. She stated directly that the woman being questioned over her clothing choices is herself and not the Tamil Nadu minister. She pointed out that those drawing comparisons between them were likely unfamiliar with the difference between her and Keerthana because they were not Malaysian.
Vinosha revealed that she has lodged a formal complaint with the Malaysian police regarding the unauthorized recording and misuse of the footage. She stated that the clip was captured without her knowledge or consent while she was simply stepping out of her car on her way to work.
Expressing her distress over the situation, Vinosha described being deeply hurt by how the video was circulated. She stated that the recording had been edited and misused to spread false narratives across digital platforms.
According to Vinosha, the public reaction to the circulating video has been mixed. While some social media users offered words of support, others posted negative remarks, critical comments, and screenshots aimed at mocking her. Despite feeling worried about the consequences of the video going viral, she maintained that she has not let the ordeal break her down.
