Uniforms Distributed to Students at Royapettah Chennai Higher Secondary School

School uniforms were distributed to students at Chennai Higher Secondary School in Royapettah as part of a community initiative aimed at supporting education and promoting girls’ empowerment.
The distribution event was jointly organised by Nurturing Futures, the Working Women’s Forum (WWF), the Indian Cooperative Network for Women (ICNW), and the India Literacy Project (ILP).
Addressing the gathering, Nandhini Azad, President of WWF (India), highlighted the role of the forum in supporting women in the informal sector and strengthening families across their respective communities. She emphasized the organisation's ongoing efforts to create better opportunities for young girls and promote their education.
Rangarajan, Country Manager of the India Literacy Project, spoke about the transformative role that education plays in shaping the future of children. Additionally, Baskar, a representative of Namma School Namma Ooru Palli (NSNOP), urged the students to focus on their studies, maintain discipline, cultivate positive habits, and stay confident as they pursue their dreams.
