Titan, Lucas TVS, ELGi Commit Fresh Investments at Vetri Tamil Nadu Conclave

Homegrown Tamil Nadu enterprises, including Titan Company, Lucas TVS, ELGi Equipments, and Chennai-founded Aheesa Digital Innovations, announced substantial new investments across the state on Thursday. The investment commitments featured prominently among the 97 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026.

Automotive and electric vehicle components manufacturer Lucas TVS committed an investment of Rs. 2,500 crore. The capital will be deployed across multiple facilities in the state to strengthen its manufacturing operations.

Titan Company announced a Rs. 1,000 crore investment in Hosur to expand its existing industrial footprint. The funding will support facilities dedicated to premium watches, jewellery, and automation equipment for the company's electronics business segment. The planned expansion is set to create 1,200 jobs.

Coimbatore-based ELGi Equipments, which ranks among the world’s largest air compressor manufacturers, signed an agreement to invest Rs. 325 crore to expand its home facility in the state.

Chennai-founded chip design enterprise Aheesa Digital Innovations was also part of the homegrown cohort signing investment agreements at the conclave.
