Three Arrested for Bike Racing on Vadapalani 100-Feet Road

Three youths were arrested by city police on Wednesday for allegedly indulging in bike racing and rash driving on 100-Feet Road in Vadapalani on August 7.

The arrests were made after police received complaints about two persons operating their two-wheelers in a dangerous manner along the Vadapalani stretch. Officers analyzed CCTV footage recorded at the spot to trace the suspects.

Police identified the arrested individuals as 20-year-old Saskhikumar from Arumbakkam, 19-year-old Kathirvel from Choolaimedu, and another 19-year-old Kathirvel hailing from Villupuram.

During the action, police also seized two two-wheelers used in the incident, identified as a Yamaha R15 and a Honda Dio.
