Tamil Nadu Government Highlights Key Milestones on Completing 100 Days in Office

The Tamil Nadu government led by Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Monday marked the completion of its first 100 days in office in Chennai, highlighting key achievements and welfare initiatives undertaken during the period.
Marking the milestone under the theme "Governance for Generations," the Chief Minister's Office released an official video alongside a comprehensive set of infographics outlining the administration's policy execution and progress on election commitments.
According to the 100-day report, the administration enforced a zero-tolerance approach toward corruption and initiated targeted measures for law and order. Key interventions included the deployment of the "Singapenn" specialised task force dedicated to women's safety and the execution of a statewide anti-drug campaign directed at safeguarding young people.
The report also detailed economic and social welfare measures rolled out across the state. On the industrial front, the government secured investment commitments amounting to Rs 1.02 lakh crore through the Vettri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave.
In the welfare sector, the administration introduced the Vettri Housing Scheme, approved the waiver of agricultural loans for marginal farmers, and ordered the closure of 717 TASMAC liquor outlets across Tamil Nadu.
The government stated that these measures reflect a sustained focus on institutional accountability, infrastructure expansion, and broad-based welfare initiatives designed to support long-term development.
