Tamil Nadu Extends Chief Minister’s State Youth Award Application Deadline To July 13

The Tamil Nadu state government has officially extended the deadline to apply for the Chief Minister’s State Youth Award to July 13. The announcement, which affects eligible young citizens in Chennai and across the state, provides candidates with additional time to complete their submissions for the prestigious award. The honor is presented annually on Independence Day to young people who have performed exemplary service.

The primary objective of the Chief Minister’s State Youth Award is to encourage exemplary service towards social development. The state government presents this award every year on Independence Day to individuals between the ages of 15 and 35 years who have made significant contributions to society.

To be considered for the award, applicants must meet strict eligibility criteria. Candidates must fall within the age group of 15 to 35 years. In addition, they must have been domiciled in the state of Tamil Nadu for a period of at least five years.

Furthermore, applicants are required to prove their contribution to social development. The state government requires that this contribution be verified through documented evidence, which must be submitted along with the application.

All applications for the Chief Minister’s State Youth Award must be completed online. The state government has directed that applications should be made only through the official website at www.sdat.tn.gov.in. The portal will accept submissions up until the newly extended deadline of July 13.

By extending the last date, the state government aims to ensure that more eligible youth who have contributed to social development have the opportunity to apply. This annual recognition on Independence Day remains a key initiative to motivate young people to engage in exemplary service across Tamil Nadu.
