Secretariat Officials Deny Nithyananda Claims of Kailasa Envoys Meeting TN Ministers

Fugitive god-man Nithyananda has claimed that representatives of his self-proclaimed nation, Kailasa, met with Tamil Nadu government ministers at the Secretariat in Chennai to discuss diplomatic relations. However, Secretariat officials have rejected the claims, stating that no official government-level meeting took place as described.
In a recent post on the social media platform X, Nithyananda asserted that "spiritual ambassadors" of Kailasa undertook a series of formal diplomatic engagements with state leaders. He claimed the representatives presented ministers with the United States of KAILASA (USK) Coffee Table Book and the History of KAILASA book, which were authored by Nithyananda. According to his post, the books focused on the revival of Sanatana Dharma and the need to protect it.
The social media post specifically named Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration Lokesh Tamilselvan, Minister for Social Justice Vanni Arasu, and Minister for Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare A. Srinath. The post also mentioned AIADMK MLA Leema Rose Martin and actor T.S.R. Srinivasan.
Secretariat officials clarified that any visitor can meet ministers at the Secretariat after submitting petitions. Sources stated that photographs taken during these routine public interactions were likely portrayed by the group as evidence of a formal diplomatic meeting.
According to local officials, this is a regular practice by representatives of Kailasa. The representatives reportedly attend meetings involving leaders from different political parties while carrying Nithyananda’s books. Whenever they manage to meet a prominent political figure, they allegedly take photographs and later use them to present the interaction in a misleading manner.
Nithyananda, who is a rape-accused fugitive, previously stirred controversy in May when he publicly congratulated actor-turned-politician Vijay following the electoral performance of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
