Sai Pallavi reportedly cast as police officer in Dhanush's upcoming film

Actress Sai Pallavi is reportedly in talks to join the cast of actor Dhanush's upcoming 55th Tamil film as a police officer. Portions of the highly anticipated action thriller, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, have already commenced filming in Chennai.

According to reports, Sai Pallavi is expected to play the female lead in the untitled project. Although the makers of the film have not officially announced her role, industry buzz pointing to her portraying a cop has created fresh excitement among fans.

The film is drawing significant attention for bringing together a high-profile cast. Alongside Dhanush in the lead, veteran actor Mammootty has reportedly joined the project in a key role.

Director Rajkumar Periasamy, who previously received praise for directing 'Amaran', is helming this new venture. The project is described as an action thriller with a strong cast and a large canvas.

Production is already underway, with important scenes featuring Dhanush and Mammootty having already been shot in Chennai. The involvement of Dhanush, Mammootty, and Sai Pallavi has made the film one of the more closely watched Tamil projects currently in production.
