Prem Anand Sinha Assumes Charge as Tambaram Police Commissioner

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Prem Anand Sinha has officially assumed charge as the new Commissioner of Police for Tambaram. The transition took place on Saturday, following a major administrative reshuffle within the Tamil Nadu police department that was announced on Friday.
The reshuffle also affected the neighboring Avadi jurisdiction, where ADGP T. Senthilkumar assumed charge as the new Commissioner of Police on Saturday. Both commissionerates in the Chennai region received new leadership through this state-level administrative transition.
In Tambaram, ADGP Prem Anand Sinha succeeds ADGP Sanjaykumar. The outgoing commissioner, Sanjaykumar, had been posted to the Tambaram Commissionerate by the Election Commission of India ahead of the recent Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Avadi Commissioner, ADGP T. Senthilkumar, transitioned to his new role from the state administration wing, where he was positioned prior to this appointment.
These leadership changes represent a significant administrative transition for both the Tambaram and Avadi police departments as they work to manage local law and order under their respective jurisdictions.
