Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya has expressed high excitement and praised the newly released Malayalam thriller movie 'Balan: The Boy', directed by Chidambaram, following a special screening.

During a video interaction with the film's makers, the actor shared his detailed impressions of the movie, explaining how deeply the story had impacted him. Naga Chaitanya revealed that the film continued to stay in his mind even after the screening had ended.

"After watching the film, it still stays with me. Even when I’m talking about it, I’m getting goosebumps. It’s full of surprises," the actor said during his conversation with the team.

Naga Chaitanya admitted that the film's narrative trajectory caught him completely off guard. He explained that he initially expected the movie to be a straightforward family drama.

"Firstly, I thought it’s a mother and son film, a family film," the actor said. "But, oh God. I saw 10-15 minutes and after that I never expected that the film would steer away like this. The film is full of surprises."

According to the actor, the unexpected direction of the plot kept him hooked throughout the entire runtime of the thriller. Alongside the narrative twists, Naga Chaitanya also applauded the film's screenplay and its technical brilliance.
