Mylapore college student dies after two-wheeler crashes on T Nagar flyover

A college student who was studying at a private college in Mylapore died after his two-wheeler crashed into a concrete barricade on the Anbazhagan flyover in T. Nagar on Tuesday.

The victim, identified as S. Sandeep, was a resident of Ramakrishna Street in T. Nagar. He was riding his vehicle to his college on Tuesday morning when the fatal accident occurred.

According to the traffic police, Sandeep was proceeding on his two-wheeler along the Anbazhagan flyover when he lost control of the vehicle. The two-wheeler then crashed into a concrete barricade on the flyover.

Sandeep sustained severe head injuries due to the impact of the collision. He was immediately rushed to the Government Royapettah Hospital for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on Tuesday night.

Following the accident, the Pondy Bazaar Traffic Investigation police registered a case. The police are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
