Minister Rajmohan Inaugurates 13 Government Buildings Worth Rs 4.48 Crore in Perambalur

School Education Minister Rajmohan declared open 13 new government buildings constructed at a total cost of Rs 4.48 crore in Perambalur on Sunday. During the event, the minister also distributed welfare assistance worth Rs 1.42 crore to 166 beneficiaries from the district.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister Rajmohan highlighted the impact of the state's governance, stating that neighbouring states and foreign nations are observing and adopting various welfare initiatives implemented across Tamil Nadu. He remarked that this adoption stands as a matter of pride for the state administration.

The minister noted that Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has been executing multiple public welfare schemes with the specific objective of empowering women and supporting diverse sections of the population through targeted interventions.

The newly opened facilities are aimed at enhancing government infrastructure and public service delivery in the region. The distribution of financial and material aid is part of ongoing district-level welfare outreach programmes.

The function was attended by several senior officials and local public representatives. District Collector Sharanya Ari, Perambalur Member of Legislative Assembly K. Sivakumar, and District Superintendent of Police Lalit Kumar participated in the official proceedings alongside other departmental staff and beneficiaries.
