Law Minister CT R Nirmal Kumar Denies Bribery in Appointing Government Prosecutors

State Law Minister CT R Nirmal Kumar on Tuesday denied allegations of bribery and irregularities in the appointment of government prosecutors, during a press briefing at the Secretariat in Chennai.

Speaking to reporters, the Minister refuted claims that the positions were being given to individuals who paid money. He clarified that the recruitment process for the government prosecutors is not yet over, making the allegations of completed corrupt appointments completely false.

Minister Nirmal Kumar stated that the state government is committed to a fair process. He assured that if any irregularity in the appointments is eventually proved, appropriate legal action will be taken against the wrongdoers.

He further emphasized that all future appointments for these roles will be made strictly according to the established regulations.
