Kanimozhi Demands Action Against TVK Member Over Alleged Abuse of 50 Women

CHENNAI — DMK deputy general secretary and Member of Parliament Kanimozhi has demanded strict action against a Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) functionary following allegations of sexual abuse involving more than 50 women.

Expressing deep shock over the allegations, Kanimozhi spoke out on Saturday regarding the case. The accusations involve a TVK member based in Salem who allegedly threatened, sexually abused, and filmed the victimized women.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, Kanimozhi described the allegations as deeply disturbing. She urged the Tamil Nadu state government to take stringent action against those involved in the alleged crimes.

The Member of Parliament drew a direct comparison between this incident and the Pollachi sexual assault case, stressing that the government must take decisive measures.

The public demand has increased pressure for immediate legal action and accountability against the accused political functionary.
