Jagadish Palanisamy Appointed Private Secretary to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay

On Monday, June 22, film producer and talent manager Jagadish Palanisamy was appointed as the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay. The appointment, which coincided with the Chief Minister's 52nd birthday, was officially made public through a Government Order shared by Palanisamy on social media.

Palanisamy, who has shared an 18-year association with Vijay, previously worked as a fan and coordinator before transitioning into film production and talent management. In a social media post, Palanisamy reflected on his journey, noting that he had once stood in line as a fan hoping for a photograph and now stands beside the Chief Minister in an official administrative capacity.

In 2020, Palanisamy founded the celebrity management and film production company 'The Route'. The company co-produced Vijay's films, including the 2021 movie Master and the 2023 release Leo. Additionally, the company has produced films such as Sesham Mike-il Fathima, Maharaja, and Revolver Rita, and represents several prominent actors and directors in the industry.

Beyond his film career, Palanisamy has been actively involved in Vijay's political initiatives. He played a role in the election campaigning for Vijay's political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), and was appointed as the Head Office Co-Treasurer of the party. He also previously managed the social media platforms for Vijay.

Chief Minister Vijay has previously acknowledged Palanisamy's rapid professional growth from his beginnings as a celebrity coordinator who moved from Coimbatore to build a career in the film industry. With this new appointment, Palanisamy officially takes on key administrative responsibilities within the state government.
