Galaxy Health Insurance Partners With Zoho to Deploy Regulated Distribution Platform

Chennai-based Galaxy Health Insurance Company has partnered with tech firm Zoho to design and deploy a regulator-compliant, enterprise-grade insurance distribution platform, the companies announced on Tuesday.
The partnership will enable the standalone health insurer to move from securing regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to full-scale, live operations within a compressed timeframe. The implementation is being carried out in collaboration with Zoho’s Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) team.
The CRM-led platform is designed to accelerate time-to-value across multiple operational areas. It handles IRDAI-compliant onboarding for agents and intermediaries, tele-sales functions, comprehensive customer support including grievance redressal, and automated commission processing at scale.
According to an official statement, the technology deployment will result in faster onboarding, expedited policy issuance, and improved transparency throughout the purchase process for consumers. For internal sales teams and insurance agents, the system ensures transparent commission payouts alongside real-time visibility into operational performance.
Galaxy Health Insurance Chief Executive Officer G Srinivasan highlighted the strategic nature of the tech integration, noting that while launching rapidly was an immediate focus, the platform is also structured to support the company's long-term pan-India expansion plans.
Mani Vembu, Chief Executive Officer of Zoho, stated that for modern insurance providers, the core challenge goes beyond simple digitisation to designing and architecting systems capable of scaling securely within a strictly regulated framework.
