Ford Business Solutions Opens New 800-Seat Office in Coimbatore

Ford Business Solutions (FBS) India has expanded its presence in the country by opening a new office in Coimbatore, marking its third location in India alongside its technology and business centre in Chennai. The new facility was formally inaugurated by State Industries Minister Keerthana Sampath.
The newly opened office is spread over 82,000 square feet and features seating capacity for approximately 800 team members. It has been established as a dedicated hub designed to strengthen business operations, continuity, and resilience for the global automotive company.
According to the company, the Coimbatore centre will primarily house team members working in accounting, Ford Credit, and Business Operations. These teams are responsible for serving Ford's various global markets. The Coimbatore facility is designed to be central to the business continuity strategy of FBS India, ensuring that critical global functions can operate without interruption.
Gangapriya Chakraverti, the India site head and Managing Director of Ford Business Solutions, spoke about the expansion and the capabilities of the Indian division. She noted that the company has spent two and a half decades developing its local expertise.
"FBS India has spent 25 years building the kind of depth and capability that lets us take end-to-end ownership of Ford’s select global processes," Chakraverti said.
Chakraverti also explained the choice of the new location, pointing out that the company already had a connection to the region.
"We have had team members from this city working for us for some time now," Chakraverti said. "Coimbatore has also grown into a vibrant, thriving business hub, and we wanted to build a presence in a city that has so much to offer."
With this launch, the Coimbatore facility joins the technology and business centre in Chennai and the technology incubation centre in Bengaluru as the third FBS India location.
