Director Vignesh Srikanth's Tamil Romantic Drama 'Once More' Arrives in Theatres

Director Vignesh Srikanth's new Tamil romantic drama Once More, starring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar in lead roles, has been released in theatres. The film tracks a tumultuous modern relationship, beginning with an opening sequence set at the Velachery bus stop in Madras where the two lead characters cross paths.

The 135-minute feature opens with Raghu, played by Arjun Das, stranded at the Velachery bus stop after his bike breaks down. With local cab drivers unwilling to take up the ride, he is offered a lift in a bright red car by his college junior Anjali, portrayed by Aditi Shankar. The story quickly subverts common cinematic tropes as Anjali takes the lead in pursuing Raghu.

As the narrative progresses, the film delves into Raghu's brooding personality and the origins of his emotional struggles. A second-half flashback introduces Indra, played by Sona Olickal, whom Raghu met during a college cultural event, shedding light on the events that shaped his outlook on relationships.

The film also features supporting storylines exploring different dimensions of romance, including a narrative arc centered on Anjali's office colleague involving a same-sex relationship.

Key sequences in the first half focus on quiet exchanges between the leads across various city locations, including a local church described by the protagonist as his favourite place in Madras.

The film's soundtrack is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, featuring varied musical styles and the melodious track 'Edhira Pudhira'. Written and directed by Vignesh Srikanth, Once More is currently playing across theatres.
