CM Vijay Works 20-Hour Days, Takes 4 AM Departmental Calls, Says Minister

As Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay completes 100 days in office, Public Works and Sports Development Minister Aadhav Arjuna outlined the Chief Minister's demanding daily schedule during a function in Chennai.
Speaking at the event, Arjuna described Vijay's shift from cinema to full-time administration, noting that the Chief Minister dedicates nearly the entire day to government business.
According to the minister, Vijay works 18 to 20 hours daily and initiates review calls to ministers and departments starting at 4 in the morning to track administrative developments across the state.
Arjuna noted that following the election victory, Vijay has maintained focus on implementing promises made to the public. He stated that the Chief Minister has operated inside the Secretariat with singular dedication to governance without personal arrogance.
Addressing the government's early administrative steps, Arjuna stated that actions have been initiated within the first 100 days to address corruption and financial leakages. The Chief Minister has issued specific directives aimed at increasing transparency across administrative departments.
The minister acknowledged that eradicating long-standing grassroots corruption cannot occur overnight, but affirmed that the administration is working to clean up the governance system starting from top levels.
