CM Vijay to Inaugurate Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026 in Chennai

Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay will inaugurate the TVK government’s maiden Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026 in Chennai on Thursday. The state government is hosting the summit as it seeks to attract fresh investments across manufacturing, technology, and emerging industries, while pursuing its broader economic goal of taking the state’s economy towards USD 1.5 trillion.

The investment summit, themed ‘Where Vision Becomes Victory’, is expected to bring together global investors, industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss investment opportunities and potential partnerships in Tamil Nadu. The conclave holds significant importance as the newly-formed TVK government seeks to establish its economic and industrial policy priorities and position Tamil Nadu as a preferred destination for both domestic and global investors.

Throughout the summit, the state will showcase its industrial capabilities across several key sectors. These sectors include advanced manufacturing, electronics, renewable energy, electric mobility, aerospace, life sciences, technology, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and other emerging industries. Major investment announcements and strategic partnerships are expected to be finalised during the course of the event.

In addition to partnership announcements, the program will feature structured discussions between government representatives and industry leaders focused on strengthening Tamil Nadu’s investment ecosystem. The conclave is slated to witness participation from leading domestic and international companies, industry associations, investors, and visiting business delegations.

Highlighting the objective of the summit, Industries Minister S. Keerthana stated that the government believes sustainable economic growth can be achieved through partnership, trust, and effective execution. The minister noted that the Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026 reflects the government's ambition to create opportunities, generate quality employment, and build industries that will define the future, adding that the administration looks forward to welcoming investors and business leaders from across India and abroad.

For the newly-formed TVK government, the investment summit provides an opportunity to signal continuity in Tamil Nadu’s established industrial growth trajectory while outlining its own specific priorities in innovation, employment generation, and inclusive economic growth.
