CM Vijay Claims Possession of Proof on Corruption During DMK Rule

Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has warned the DMK against provoking him to release evidence of corruption allegedly committed during the previous DMK regime, stating in the Assembly in Chennai on Wednesday that he would disclose the facts at the appropriate time.
The Chief Minister's remarks came in response to DMK MLA I Periyasamy, who had urged members of the TVK not to level allegations against the DMK government without furnishing proof during an Assembly debate.
Rising to counter the MLA's remarks, Vijay stated that he possesses evidence demonstrating corruption committed across three government departments.
Earlier during the session, Finance Minister Marie Wilson stated that his audit of three government departments had uncovered ample proof of corrupt practices during the DMK administration.
Confirming the Finance Minister's statement, Vijay reiterated that he holds the necessary documentation and would bring the facts to light at the right moment.
