Chennai Cybercrime Police Arrest YouTuber Maridhas at Madurai Residence

The Greater Chennai Police cybercrime wing arrested YouTuber Maridhas on Monday morning from his residence in Kadachanendhal, Madurai. The arrest was executed by a team of police officers who took him into custody at around 8:00 AM.
According to authorities, the arrest was made in connection with allegations that Maridhas made derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay. The remarks were reportedly made during an interview broadcast on a YouTube channel.
In addition to the Chief Minister, Maridhas is also accused of making derogatory comments against several state ministers during the same online interview.
Following the early morning operation at his Kadachanendhal home in Madurai, the Greater Chennai Police cybercrime team took the YouTuber into custody.
