Chennai Central Railway Police Probe Body Found in Suitcase on Tamil Nadu Express

The Central railway police in Chennai are working to identify the body of an unidentified male that was discovered inside a suitcase aboard the Tamil Nadu Express at Agra Cantonment railway station.
The Tamil Nadu Express operates from Dr. MGR Chennai Central railway station to New Delhi. The body was discovered by the Agra Railway police in an unreserved compartment of the train.
Following the discovery, the Agra Railway Protection Force (RPF) registered a case and shared photographs of the victim's body along with the suitcase in which it had been packed with railway police in Chennai.
According to a senior official of the Government Railway Police (GRP), investigators analyzed closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage recorded at Dr. MGR Chennai Central railway station alongside the photographs received from Agra. The footage revealed that a young couple, suspected to be migrant workers, had brought the suitcase into the station.
The Agra RPF has sought the assistance of the Central GRP to help trace the origins of the luggage and establish the identity of the deceased man as the investigation continues.
