Anti-NEET Protesters Continue Hunger Strike in Chennai Demanding Test Abolition

Anti-NEET protesters continued their hunger strike in Chennai today, demanding that the government respond to their demand to abolish the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical admissions.

The ongoing agitation comes in the wake of the Tamil Nadu Assembly passing a resolution urging the Centre to amend relevant laws and do away with NEET as a mandatory requirement for medical college admissions.

Despite the Assembly's resolution, the demonstrators on hunger strike stated that their agitation in the city will continue until their demands are met. The anti-NEET stir remains a key focus of public and political discourse in Chennai as protesters maintain their demand for the complete abolition of the entrance examination.
