Anbumani Ramadoss Demands TRB Clarify Highlighted Marks In Assistant Professor Exam

PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss on Monday raised serious concerns over color-coded highlights found on specific candidates' score sheets in the newly published list for the English assistant professor exam in Chennai. The controversy has sparked severe distress among exam aspirants, who suspect the grading process may have been manipulated.

The issue stems from the recently published results list for the English assistant professor discipline. In the official list, the marks of certain candidates in several rows were found to be distinctly highlighted with blue and yellow markers.

This visual discrepancy led to immediate allegations from exam aspirants. Many fear that these specific color indicators point to manual interventions in the grading process, where scores might have been modified either favorably or adversely for select candidates.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X on Monday, Anbumani criticized the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) for its handling of the situation. He stated that the board had already failed to clarify prior allegations of grading manipulation before this new controversy emerged.

Anbumani accused the TRB of irresponsibly handling an evaluation process that directly shapes the futures of tens of thousands of candidates. He urged the board to take immediate responsibility to address and dispel the growing suspicions.

According to the PMK leader, it is the duty of the TRB to clarify the purpose of the highlights and restore credibility to the examination process for all aspirants involved.
