7 Workers Die After Ammonia Gas Leak at Tiruvallur Seafood Unit

Seven guest workers died and more than 40 others were hospitalized following an ammonia gas leak at a private seafood processing plant in Tiruvallur district.

The incident occurred on a Sunday at the private seafood processing facility, where workers were exposed to the leaking ammonia gas.

Following the leak, more than 40 individuals required immediate medical attention and were transported to hospitals. Seven guest workers died as a result of the gas leak.

The tragedy took place at the private seafood unit located in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district.
