The 24th edition of the Agri Intex agricultural exposition officially commenced on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore. The five-day event, which is scheduled to conclude on July 13, 2026, serves as a major platform for showcasing the latest technological advancements in agriculture, horticulture, dairy farming, poultry, and food processing.

A total of 496 companies are participating in the event, bringing representation from both Indian states and international markets. The exhibition spans a massive area of 150,000 square feet at the venue, housing a total of 660 stalls where various innovations are being presented to visitors.

Among the domestic participants are leading companies hailing from states such as Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Rajasthan. On the international front, businesses from Italy, Malaysia, Japan, and the United States have set up displays to showcase their global agricultural solutions.

The primary objective of Agri Intex 2026 is to bring modern farming technologies under a single roof. This year, a key highlight of the exhibition is the extensive array of farm automation technologies on display. These advanced systems aim to streamline agricultural labor across the entire farming cycle, from seeding to final harvest.

Specifically, the automation technologies featured at the venue include advanced drone sprayers, direct paddy-transplanting machines, and automated harvesters. To give visitors a hands-on understanding of these systems, the venue includes specialized zones dedicated to live machinery demonstrations.

In addition to the heavy machinery, the expo features dedicated zones for nurseries and livestock. Visitors to the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex can also explore and purchase a wide variety of agricultural inputs. These include high-quality seeds and organic fertilizers.

Furthermore, a diverse selection of saplings is available for purchase, ranging from local fig trees to climate-adapted Shimla apple plants, offering options for different types of growers and climatic conditions.
